|ARLIS/NA 2008 Conference Fundraiser
A silent auction benefiting the Society will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008, at the Annual Conference in Denver. Starting at 9:30am when the Exhibition Hall opens, bidding begins on items donated by ARLIS/NA members, chapters, exhibitors and corporate donors. Come early and bid often!
Donating to the Auction
Individuals and chapters are encouraged to participate in this fundraising activity for the Society.
Donations may include a wide array of material: handicrafts, publications, gift baskets, jewelry, handmade toys, quilts, regional foods and beverages (must not require refrigeration), and works of art. Remember, purchasers must transport or ship items home.

The Silent Auction Event
This year the Silent Auction will be held for one day, Saturday, May 3, 2008. The Silent Auction begins when the Exhibits open at 9:30am and will close at 6:15pm during the Silent Auction Happy Hour.
Items will be accompanied by a bidding sheet for written/silent bids. Items will be sold to the highest bidder.
Members with winning bids will be announced during the Happy Hour. Winners are responsible for paying for their items at the registration desk prior to claiming them. Items must be picked up by 12 noon on Monday, May 5th, at the temporary ARLIS/NA headquarters in the hotel.
Purchasers planning to ship items from the hotel are responsible for preparing items for shipment: Shipping is available through the hotel’s FedEx/Kinko's Business Center.
ARLIS/NA reserves the right to refuse donated items on the basis of quality, size restrictions and space limitations.
Unsold or unclaimed items will be returned to the donor after the auction.
